When can I have my portrait taken?
The time frame to complete your portrait is totally up to you and your availability. Once you contact me, we will start to hash out the details, and schedule a date and time for your portrait. After your portrait is session is complete, allow two weeks to receive your print, your jpeg should be in your email in less than one week.
How can I let other veterans know about this project?
Above each article is a share button for some of the most popular social media outlets. You can also direct them to the website Veterans Portrait.
I live outside of Louisiana but I want to be a part of this project
As of right now, I am concentrating on the state of Louisiana. As the project gains momentum and my travels take me elsewhere, I plan to expand the scope of the project to include other states. If demand from one particular area is increasingly high, I will try to accommodate and travel to that location.
Will I be compensated for my image
You will not be compensated monetarily. For your time and willingness to participate in this project, you will receive (1) print and (1) jpeg from your session. The print size of the image will be 8 x 12 suitable for framing.
Image Uses
Why do I have to sign a model release?
The reason I have you sign a model release is to provide documentation and permission for me to take a portrait for this project. After you have signed the model release, you will be emailed a copy for your records.
Can I use my photograph for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn?
Yes! You may use your photograph for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn. Please let me know this either before or directly after. I will provide you with an image that is compatible with most social media sites.
How will my image be used?
Your image will not be used not for any commercial uses, such as advertising or sold to any photographic agency. I may use the image to promote the project and/or on the portfolio page once this project garners enough image for this.
